- High expectations on the story
With CD Project Red behind the steering wheel. There are high expectations on the story in Cyberpunk 2077. CD Project Red are responsible for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, hence the expectations.
The Internet is a great source of information. And most recently I read about someone from the development team taking part in a Q&A regarding Cyberppunk 2077. Of course there were a lot of questions regarding the story and the answered delivered a lot of promise.
This is going to be a nonlinear game. But there are a few different sort of quests available that will affect the game in different ways.
Different sort of quests
This is a series of large quests that is said to feel complete. If you only play these quests and finish the game. You will end up having a great experience.
This is quests that can vary in size. There will be huge ones and also shorter ones completed within minutes. These will introduce areas or communitys. They will be able to affect the way your story evolves as well.
As far as I understand it short missions that will mostly impact reputations with different groups etc.
Failing quests will affect the story in various ways. Not automatically show a text that you failed the quest. When you die, that is another thing. But apparently you will get to see the story evolve differently depending on how you manage to complete your quests.
Have I misunderstood some things? Possibly. But I am certain that the story and the quests are a reason to be excited about this game. Regardless of how it all works in detail. This is certainly one of the most hyped games right now.
