Interview about DayZ
- We had the pleasure of talking to a member of the DayZ development team
During the last episode of The Fit Gamer Podcast we had company. It was really fun to be able to talk to Martin Culák from the DayZ development team. As you have probably already guessed, the topic of discussion was DayZ.
DayZ is a game that have been on my mind since I played the MOD for ARMA back in the days. Then the standalone version came out in 2013 and I was super excited. Me and about 3 million others had bought the early access game when we had reached January of 2015. That is a big number of sales.
We are now finally closing in on the release date of the beta version and further down the road, also the 1.0 version. I got to ask a lot of questions regarding how the development have gone and why we are hyping the beta release. It is said to hold some major changes. It will make a huge difference when it comes to the way we have experienced DayZ so far. No more randomly broken legs! If you have played the game, you will understand that the struggle is real. And hilarious when it happen to a friend.
Anyway, just listen to the episode and enjoy! A big thanks to Martin for talking to us and sharing this information. It really motivated me to get back into the game and see how the game is after the beta release.
