I searched Zonezter to see what I had written about the game previously. All I found was this ”first impression” text. You can find it here. I did enjoy the game when I played it for the first time. Since I have played a lot of different MOBA's over the years it was easy to get into the gameplay.
When the big MOBA boom came a few years ago. It felt pretty clear, even then. Not all games would be able to survive. In this particular genre, the differences in gameplay will make it difficult for players to keep playing several MOBA's at a time. I tried playing League of Legends, Heroes of Newerth at the same time. The differences made it difficult.

With Fortnite being huge right now. It is quite understandable that Epic Games are focusing their efforts on the most successful title right now. It is a business and they are the ones that will win or lose money on making business decisions regarding their own games.
Unfortunately, some players will be really disappointed with this decision. If you want to find some reactions, just check out some forums or Twitch. Like every game, there are streamers that are used to play a particular game. Paragon is no different. There are a lot of different reactions to be found from the streamers.
Right now there are a lot of streams ”saying goodbye” to the game as well.
